Are you currently working as a painter, automotive refinisher, industrial painter or spayer and do you want to use your craftsmanship in a specialized aerospace environment? Then this position as Painter / Spuiter Aerospace at SPECTO Aerospace in Hoogerheide is an interesting next step.

You will not be working on standard bodywork or mass spray painting, but on high-quality helicopter parts. You will work on composite and sheet metal parts, carefully prepare surfaces, apply paint systems, and correct paint defects according to aviation quality standards. Precision, finishing, and craftsmanship really make a difference here.

What will you be doing?

As a Painter / Spuiter Aerospace, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing components. You will work on helicopter parts, such as rotor blades, doors, hatches, etc., used in civil and military aviation. This requires precision, discipline, quality, and a keen eye for detail.

You will be involved in the entire painting process. You will assess the condition of parts, prepare surfaces, mix and apply paint systems, and ensure that each part is finished according to the correct requirements. You will also correct paint defects and carefully inspect your own work before the part progresses in the process.

Specifically, you will be involved in:

• Preparing, sanding, cleaning, and masking components

• Painting and finishing composite and sheet metal parts

• Touching up paint defects and performing repair work

• Working with paint systems, materials, and techniques within aerospace

• Checking quality, paint thickness, finish, and visual result

• A salary between € 2,600 and € 3,700 gross per month

• A permanent position for 36 to 40 hours per week

• Work in day shift

• 44 days off and 8% holiday allowance

• Employment conditions according to the CAO Metalektro, including pension scheme and travel allowance for all kilometers

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a skilled professional with experience in painting, prepping, and finishing. Experience in aerospace is a plus, but experience as an automotive painter, industrial painter, or bodywork painter can also be a good fit. It is important that you work with precision, take quality seriously, and are open to further developing within aviation technology.

This position may be a good fit for you if you have experience as a Painter, Spuiter, Automotive Painter, Industrial Painter, Bodywork Painter, Aircraft Painter or technical specialist in surface treatment.

You recognize yourself in the following:

• You have completed training at least at MBO level in painting technology, automotive repair, spray technology, or a similar field

• You have extensive experience with painting, prepping, paint application, and finishing

• You have expertise in paint, substrates, preparation, and application techniques

• You work safely, precisely, and have an eye for detail and finishing

• You have a good command of Dutch and English to understand work and safety instructions

• You have a driver's license, a Dutch or EU passport, and you live within a reasonable travel distance
