Are you that driven HR Business Partner, who has a broad experience within HR? Are you at home in all aspects and dynamics of Human Resources within a technical environment? SPECTO Aerospace is looking for an independent and self-aware HR Business Partner who actively looks beyond standard solutions and who continues to build on our HR policy and the department with attention.

SPECTO Aerospace is a specialist in the repair and processing of metal and composite parts for aircraft and helicopters. At our locations at Amsterdam Lelystad Airport and Woensdrecht Air Base, we carry out certified work for renowned OEMs, Operators and maintenance companies worldwide. We are an EASA/CAA-UK/FAA/MAA Part-145 and AS9110 certified aviation engineering company and our professionals are committed to innovation, quality and reliability every day.

Your challenge

As HR Business Partner, you are an essential link within our organization for both locations, Lelystad and Hoogerheide. You support managers and employees in the field of HR, but also think about the future of our HR processes and strategies. You actively contribute to an open and positive culture and safe workplace, in which employees can be themselves, feel valued and involved. You have a broad range of tasks, in which you are both operational and strategic. You manage the Recruitment Business Partner and the HR Officer at our location in Woensdrecht.

What will you do?

✅ Executive HR tasks:

  • Drawing up and implementing HR objectives and consultation with MT teams at both locations

  • Onboarding new employees, file creation and HR administration (AFAS)

  • Conducting conversations with employees, such as progress, development and bad news conversations

  • Guiding short-term and long-term sick leave and reintegration processes

✅ Strategic and tactical HR policy:

  • Developing and implementing HR policy in the field of talent management, organizational development and sustainable employability

  • Signaling and implementing improvements in HR processes

  • Advising and participating in decision-making in the management team on HR-related issues

  • Guiding change processes and organizational development

  • Intensive collaboration with HR colleagues and managing the Recruitment Business Partner and HR Officer

  • A competitive salary between €4,200 and €5,400 gross per month for a full-time employment contract

What do you bring?

  • You have a higher professional education (Bachelor level) work and thinking level in the direction of HRM or a similar direction and at least 5 years of experience in a broad HR role, preferably in a technical or production environment (experience with aviation technology is a plus)

  • Experience with executive matters such as employee interviews, absenteeism guidance, HR administration (experience with AFAS is a plus) and process optimization and also familiar with strategic and tactical HR policy

  • Knowledge of HR legislation, current HR trends and organizational development

  • Management skills, a good advisor for the MT for operational, tactical and strategic topics and an excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing

  • Strong communication skills, an eye for people, self-starting, independent, connecting, driven and energetic with the drive to go that extra mile and a solution-oriented mindset

  • Available for 32 - 40 hours per week, living within 60 minutes' travel distance from Lelystad and in possession of a driving license B (own transport is a plus)
