Are you a driven HR Officer who embraces working in a technical environment? Then we have good news for you! SPECTO Aerospace is looking for an experienced HR Officer to join our local HR team in Woensdrecht.

We are all about repairing helicopter parts and maintaining the quality standards in the aviation industry. We offer innovative repair solutions for composite parts from our MRO facilities in Hoogerheide for helicopters and for fixed wing aircraft in Lelystad.

With a team of professionals, we work daily on qualitative and innovative solutions for our (international) customers in the aviation industry. For our location in Hoogerheide (Woensdrecht Air Base) we are looking for a versatile and active HR Officer who combines HR tasks with operational support on the work floor.

What will you do?

As HR Officer, you are responsible for the daily HR administration and you support the HR department with various operational tasks at SPECTO Services in Woensdrecht. You spend most of your time on HR activities such as personnel administration, absence management and onboarding, local recruitment and you provide practical support around inflow processes. You are also responsible for various office tasks, so that your colleagues can focus on their core tasks.

The position is carried out in a working week of 28-32 hours, spread over 5 days, so that your daily presence contributes to smooth support (to be agreed in consultation). You are accountable to the HR Manager of SPECTO Aerospace and you functionally coordinate your office activities with the Operations Manager of our Woensdrecht branch. You are willing to travel to our branch in Lelystad every now and then, for example for a monthly meeting and in the initial phase for induction.

Responsibilities

  • Performing HR tasks, including managing personnel files, processing changes, supporting development interviews, development plans, absence interviews, absence administration and salary changes. You are the local point of contact for HR matters

  • Supporting local recruitment activities in collaboration with our recruiter, such as maintaining contacts with schools, planning job events and supporting the onboarding of new employees

  • You perform administrative and operational tasks in the office, such as managing access passes, tokens and badges, keeping track of the issuance of company property and scanning and archiving project documentation.

  • Registering visitors to Defence, guiding visitors to and from the gate of the air base and facilitating their access to the building. In addition, you answer the phone and coordinate incoming questions or requests

  • First point of contact for practical office and building management matters, such as passing on technical reports, coordinating minor repairs and organizing facility support

  • A good salary of € 3,000 - € 3,800 gross per month for a 40-hour working week (depending on work experience, education and age)

What do we expect from you as an HR Officer?

  • An Bachelor working and thinking level and preferably a successfully completed education in HR, Administration or a similar direction

  • 2 to 5 years of work experience in a supporting HR role or a similar position, preferably in a technical environment

  • Excellent organizational skills, able to work in a structured manner and able to set priorities

  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English

  • An active attitude with a great sense of responsibility, a service-oriented attitude, you are accurate, solution-oriented and you handle confidential information discreetly.

  • Experience with HR systems such as AFAS and knowledge of recruitment is a plus.
